Chemical Peels in Scottsdale
Transform Your Skin with Chemical Peels
Resurface and Exfoliate to Unveil Fresh Radiant Skin
Uneven Skin? Dark Spots? Acne Scars?
Rejuvent offers customized medical-grade chemical peels ranging from mildly exfoliating Glycolic peel to a more aggressive formula.
External combatants, like the sun, can cause the skin to become uneven, wrinkled, spotted, or scarred. Chemical peels utilize a chemical solution to regenerate new skin cells faster than normal, deeply exfoliating and refining the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers.
While chemical peels are used primarily on the face, they may also be utilized to improve the neck, chest, hands, arms, legs, back, and abdomen. Although chemical peels are considered a minimally invasive procedure, only a licensed and trained professional is the appropriate person to determine peel potency.
The skincare professionals at Rejuvent obtain a thorough patient profile and history to establish the best strength to use with each patient.

“I had my first Chemical Peel with Emily at Rejuvent when I was 48 years old. I now get them regularly and I am truly amazed at how much my skin has changed. My rough skin is gone, my Melasma is lighter, my acne scars have faded and my skin looks and feels a lot younger than my 53 years. Thank you, Emily, for performing your magic on me.“

Chemical Peels are effective skin treatments that use acids to safely treat the skin. Some ingredients used in chemical peels at Rejuvent are Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Vitamin C, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, and Trichloroacetic (TCA). Chemical Peels should only be performed by trained, experienced, and skilled providers!
Chemical Peels are effective skin treatments that address a myriad of skin concerns:
- Discoloration and uneven skin tone
- Age spots and hyperpigmentation
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Dull complexion
- Flat dehydrated skin
- Acne or acne scars
- Melasma
- Sun-damaged skin
- Aging-related issues
Dr. Bomer considers chemical peels to be an essential component of maintaining healthy, youthful skin and gets peels herself 6-8 times a year based upon her skin’s needs.
People who have dull, uneven texture, sun-damaged skin, acne and/or acne scars, discolored skin, has Melasma, aging-related issues, or whose skin is affected by large pores, freckles, or wrinkles, may benefit from a Chemical Peel.

Chemical peels use well-known ingredients in higher concentrations that promote skin rejuvenation, such as alpha-hydroxy acids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and retinol to name a few. These acids exfoliate the dead skin in the outer layer (epidermis) and stimulate collagen and elastin production in the deeper layer (dermis). Peels can also break down melanin (brown pigment) deposits in the dermis, which lightens age spots.
- Exfoliates the epidermis, leading to smoother, softer skin
- Dissolves sebum and cellular debris from pores
- Promotes collagen and elastin production
- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduces acne blemishes and helps prevent future breakouts
- Promotes a more even skin texture and tone
- Lifts pigmentation
- Increases radiance
- Fades dark spots
- Helps fade acne scars
- Improves laxity
There are several types of Chemical Peels and these peels reach different depths of the skin. The skin depth targeted varies according to the results we want to achieve. Mild peels refresh the skin and allow you to return to your daily activities quickly. Deeper peels reach further and provide a more dramatic reversal of damage from the effects of sun exposure and require a little more recovery time. Certain peels are specific to brighten and promote radiance, other peels are used to aggressively resurface the skin. At Rejuvent, we have the perfect peel to dramatically improve your skin…
At Rejuvent, your treatments are tailored to your specific skin needs. It is critical to prepare the skin for a peel with quality, Medical Grade skincare before getting a peel. Prepared skin will recover faster and have a more dramatic result from a peel compared with a non-prepared face. We create a custom skincare regimen to prepare your skin for the peel. Once the skin is prepared with Medical Grade skincare, it better absorbs the peel and maximizes the results. We offer Chemical Peels specific to each skin issue and area of concern and have added several levels of peels to better serve our patients.
Below are some of the peels we offer.
Level I
- Jan Marini 40% Glycolic
- Jan Marini 70% Glycolic
- PCA Peel with Hydroquinone
Level II
- SkinCeuticals Micropeel Plus 30
- SkinCeuticals Micropeel 30
- SkinCeuticals Pigment Balancing Peel
Level III
- Jan Marini Transform Peel
- Jessner’s Solution
- 10% TCA Peel
To maximize your results we recommend that all patients be on a medical-grade skincare routine one month before their peel.
Why do we recommend that? Simple. Medical grade skincare preps your skin and starts rejuvenation by increasing Hyaluronic Acid, collagen, and elastin production. A skin that has been prepped will heal faster, have more pigmentation control, and have better results than skin that is not already used to active ingredients. Rejuvent’s online store RejuventSkincare.com offers all skincare recommended by Dr. Bomer.
During a peel, your skin might feel itchy, stinging, lightly burning, and warm. The intensity will vary depending on the peel level. At Rejuvent, our licensed aesthetician will take steps to minimize your discomfort. If at any time, you experience discomfort let her know so she can help ease it.
Chemical Peels are offered in 3 levels ranging from no downtime to peeling for a couple of weeks.
- Level I should expect minor to no flaking.
- Level II should expect mild peeling for 2 to 3 days post-treatment.
- Level III should expect to peel for 7 to 10 days or more post-treatment.
- Use a gentle cleanser for the first 48 hours following treatment. Gently pat dry.
- Use only gentle skincare products for the first three days such as Neocutis Bio-Cream, Benev Pure Squalane Oil, Jan Marini Hyla3D, and PCA Silkcoat Balm.
- Avoid makeup, retinoids, glycolic acids, and Vitamin C products for the rest of the day following your treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure for 24 hours. After that, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 daily.
All patients are different and have different skin types and different concerns, but we recommend getting a series of Chemical Peels. At Rejuvent, we offer package pricing for any two treatments purchased together.
Rejuvent offers Your Face & Body Skin Club with reduced pricing on all spa treatments so you maximize your budget. In addition, every treatment, retail product, and service earns you LuxePoints which accumulate to give you savings on skincare purchases.
