PRP Facial – PRP Skin Booster with Rejuvapen
Boost Your Skin Rejuvenation
Is your skin tone just not as bright, healthy, and firm as it used to be? Are you seeing more fine lines around your face?
Put your powerful growth factors to work with a PRP Facial Treatment
Platelet-Rich Plasma Facial Skin Booster™ with Rejuvapen will stimulate your skin to rebuild and renew by employing the powerful growth factors contained in your own blood. These growth factors are responsible for choreographing the healing process. The procedure involves a blood draw at Rejuvent, which is separated by a patented process to target and extract the growth factors found in our own platelets.
This clear, golden, odorless serum is then applied topically in conjunction with the Rejuvapen (micro-needling). During the PRP facial treatment, the Rejuvapen pushes the liquid deep into the skin so it can start working to rejuvenate your skin by boosting collagen and elastin production.
- PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) contains growth factors from within your own platelets
- We extract the PRP with Selphyl, extracting only clear golden fluid without red byproducts
- Growth factors will enhance your skin’s healing response from the micro-needling in building collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid
- Tightens and firms sagging skin.
- Improves crepey skin.
- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
- Improves acne scars, pigmentation, uneven tone, and texture.

Frequently asked questions related to PRP Treatment at Rejuvent.
PRP Treatment (also known as PRP Facial and Vampire Facial) is a treatment that harvests your own growth factors and applies them to your skin. It is a very holistic treatment as your own growth factors are used to rejuvenate your own skin!
PRP treatments have been used in sports medicine for years to help speed recovery following surgery. This technology can now very successfully help rejuvenate your face, neck, and chest too!
Growth factors are proteins naturally present in our bodies. These proteins bind to the cells and promote cell regeneration and tissue repair. Growth factors can stimulate your skin to repair the tiny wounds made by the microneedle, this response makes your skin increase collagen production which helps the skin in several ways.
Growth factors are NOT growth hormones. Growth factors are found in your blood’s platelets.
Platelets are elements in the blood that help tissue to heal and grow new cells. Many many growth factors are present in Platelet Rich Plasma. The Platelet Rich Plasma promotes your own collagen to grow, regenerates tissue, helps to heal, and repairs tissue. It also helps stimulate hair growth in the scalp. PRP Facial Treatment with Rejuvapen is great for anyone with aging skin, experiencing skin laxity, has skin texture irregularities, has wrinkles, and/or sun damage. It is a great treatment to boost collagen production. This process over time plumps the skin, softens wrinkles, improves scarring, tightens skin, and promotes fresh, radiant, youthful skin.
The number of treatments needed depends on each individual patient, the patient’s desired results, and the individual treatment plan. We usually recommended a series of three treatments performed 4 to 5 weeks apart for best results.
At Rejuvent we treat the face neck and chest area.
A small amount of your blood with be drawn by the Rejuvent nurse. The blood will be mixed and activated by the Selphyl patented Platelet Rich Plasma Fibrin Matrix and inserted in a centrifuge which will spin the blood at a high-speed velocity.
This Selphyl system separates the clear golden fluid so no red byproducts from the blood are used. Other systems may include red byproducts which can tint the skin.
In the spa, the aesthetician will cleanse and dry your skin. She then applies the golden liquid to your skin and uses the Rejuvapen microneedle to push the growth factors into the skin.
Once inside the skin the growth factors in the PRP act as a scaffolding on which your body will grow collagen naturally. This results in a thicker dermis with softer fine lines and wrinkles, less scarring, and improved skin tone.
At Rejuvent, your comfort is important. Our licensed aesthetician Emily Glenn will take all steps to ensure your comfort during the procedure.
There is no downtime. You might experience mild puffiness and redness that can be easily covered with tinted sunscreen or makeup.
You might experience mild puffiness, redness, and some tenderness on the first day that appears much like a sunburn. Some patients notice a sandpaper texture to the skin the day after treatment. By the second or third day, the puffiness, tenderness, and redness should diminish. The sandpaper texture to the skin may persist for up to a week.
In two to three weeks you might notice that your skin is plump, moister, and more radiant. Over time as your collagen production, you might notice softer lines and wrinkles and tighter skin.
